The ACGME Common Program Requirements Major Revision Task Force is committed to a transparent, comprehensive revision process that includes extensive data gathering and stakeholder engagement, including multiple stakeholder surveys. As part of the revision process now underway, the Task Force now seeks the broad perspectives of the GME community on the ACGME Common Program Requirements for fellowships.
Fellowship Stakeholder Survey – (Open now through August 7)
This survey seeks input from a wide variety of roles on issues relevant to fellow education, including: program leadership, faculty qualifications, independent practice, scholarly activity, evaluation, quality and safety, supervision, and professionalism.

The results of this survey and an update on the major revision process will be shared at an update session during the 2027 ACGME Annual Educational Conference. Further details and updates will be shared via the ACGME e-Communication, on the ACGME website, and on the ACGME's social media accounts.
