For those folks who manage, supervise, or work in a Cytogenetics laboratory:
What strategies do you use to prospectively hire scientists in Cytogenetics based on volumes, productivity metrics, and workload balance?
For context, my laboratory traditionally has reactive hiring practices, but I would like to be more proactive since this is a specialized field where it is hard to come by qualified individuals.
