I perform blood draws for a "no refusal blood draw" program. I testified in a trial where the defense attorney stated, that the iodine should dry for 1.5 min before drawing a blood alcohol specimen. He says this is according to a 6th edition book released by CLSI. I have no knowledge of this couldn't view the information because I am not a member. Is there a requirement on the amount of time to allow the area to dry for blood alcohol testing
