    Hi Everyone,

I sincerely thank you for your support and collaboration during the data collection phase of this study. Your willingness to participate and provide access to key information made this research possible. The insights from your organization significantly contributed to our understanding of knowledge management practices in laboratory medicine (LMF).

This study examined how Knowledge Management Practice Capability (KMPC)-specifically acquisition, conversion, application, and protection-shapes key dimensions of organizational performance. The findings revealed that KMPC is a foundational driver of performance outcomes, with the application (APP) and conversion (CON) components emerging as the strongest and most consistent predictors. These capabilities significantly influenced innovation, operational efficiency, employee development, and quality assurance.

Additionally, the study found that organizational performance strongly predicts success in regulatory inspections and accreditation. This underscores the importance of cultivating robust knowledge practices to enhance readiness, compliance, and overall organizational excellence in U.S. laboratory medicine firms.

    • The study revealed that KMPC is a foundational driver of organizational performance, with APP and CONconsistently emerging as the strongest predictors across all models. These components significantly shape innovation, operational efficiency, employee development, and quality assurance.
    • Organizational performance was shown to be a strong predictor of regulatory inspection and accreditation success (RNS) among US-based LMFs, indicating that firms with stronger performance systems and knowledge practices are better positioned to meet regulatory standards.
    • The findings align with established literature highlighting the role of strategic knowledge management in enhancing healthcare performance, compliance, and organizational readiness.
    • Overall, the study clarifies how KMPC and organizational performance interact to support successful regulatory inspections and accreditation outcomes in U.S. laboratory medicine firms. The results reinforce existing research indicating that strategic knowledge management enhances performance, compliance, and readiness.

Your participation provided essential input for these insights, and I sincerely appreciate your support. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective, which helped advance knowledge in this important field.

    Thank you,
