The Impact of Case-Based Learning on the Critical Thinking Skills of Medical Laboratory Science Professionals in the United States
- Are you 18 years of age or older?
- Are you a board-certified medical laboratory scientist?
- Are you currently working in a hospital-based or non-hospital-based laboratory facility?
If you answered yes to each of the questions listed above, you may be eligible to participate in a research study.
The purpose of this research study is to determine if there is a difference in critical thinking skill scores between medical laboratory science professionals exposed to small, medium, and high amount of case-based learning and between professionals working in hospital-based laboratories and those working in non-hospital-based settings in the United States
Participants will be asked to take an anonymous, online survey lasting about 30 minutes
Participation will be completely anonymous, and no personal, identifying information will be collected. Email addresses collected for purposes of forwarding the gift cards will be immediately destroyed at the completion of the disbursement of compensations.
A consent document is provided as the first page of the survey.
At the end of the survey, participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of ten $50 gift cards as a thank you and show of appreciation.
