As the Chairman of the Brazil Advisory Board, I assist laboratory scientists from Brazil to work in the United States and help increase the laboratory workforce in the country.
I am reaching out to inquire whether any laboratory would be open to hosting a short technical visit for a fellow laboratory professional. The purpose of this visit is to observe workflows and gain insight into routine operations in a U.S.-based laboratory setting.
The visitor is a qualified laboratory professional with over 8 years experience in clinical pathology as well as a university professor and she is very interested in expanding her knowledge and understanding of laboratory standards and practices in the United States.
The visit would be purely observational, respecting all institutional policies, confidentiality requirements, and safety regulations.
The visitor would be in the US from May 5th to the 21st. She will be in Chicago, New York, Orland and Miami during this time . So any laboratory (hospital, university, Arup, LabCorp, Mayo Clinic, Quest Diagnostics) in one of those areas would be perfect.
She is fully willing to comply with any necessary documentation required for visit purposes. I can provide more details if needed.
