    how can i get my license to work as mls in washington , texas and verginia i have my mls certificate from ascp what can i  do else

    This is in answer to the following question posted on Dec 10.  

    Q:  how can i get my license to work as mls in washington , texas and verginia i have my mls certificate from ascp what can i  do else 
    A:  Those three states do not have state licensure.  Your certification will be required by most but not all employers.

    I am not sure about Washington state, but neither Texas nor Virginia require a license to work in a clinical laboratory.

    State License is not required in Texas to work as Technologists/ Scientists , as long as you have a valid/active MLS ASCP certification. You can send your application through the Hospital website. Good Luck.
