First of all, your employer owes you an explanation as to why you are being terminated. Is it based on performance or other reason. They owe you whether you are eligible to be rehired. As to severance, typical it is one week of severance for each year you have been employed in the organization. Look into your healthcare medical coverage, i.e. COBRA.
