    Hi folks, 

    I am trying to help a friend in finding a job in the chemistry department. She has 5+ years of experience in chemistry research labs, and recently she has obtained the Specialist in Chemistry certification. She would like to work in clinical chemistry laboratory in the region of Texas or New Jersey.     Have her look at the Baylor Scott and White job postings.  This is a large healthcare system in Texas and there are Chemistry positions in Temple Texas. Website is https://jobs.bswhealth.com/us/en or use the main site bswhealth.com and search for careers.

    permamente all over the US or Mayo Clinic. Both have research positions.

    Good luck! Most corporations aren't actually hiring right now. You'll see a ton of reposted ghost jobs to drive up shareholder stock and according to some of my contacts, many companies are secretly in a hiring freeze (but they still post fake positions). Yes, this should be illegal and we need legislation to punish and prevent corporations from abusing the job market for financial gain.

    I wish your friend the best of luck in finding a good chemistry position, but this is easily the worst job market we have ever had.
