    Hello Lab heroes,

    I am very frustrated with the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel and so other colleagues as we are trying to take the Florida License and they are very unhelpful. 

    The waiting process is past due and they have not said anything about the application. I have contacted them multiple times through phone calls and email and they do not care to get back to me neither reply my emails. 

    Is anybody going through the same problem? Is there a different number from their website that you can actually talk to someone there? Any advice?

    Now the lab I was supposed to start on January 5th will have to change the start day until I heard from the Board. You can imagine how stressfull this can be.

    Would recommend speaking with your prospective employer to see if they can assist/intervene. As we are now in the week between Christmas and New Year may be a more difficult time to reach someone. Best of luck!
