At this year's ASCP Annual Meeting, the ASCP Workforce Lounge is excited to bring you the opportunity to step into the virtual laboratory through CDC's OneLab VR - a virtual environment for clinical and public health laboratory training.
Sign up here to test out some of CDC's discrete training modules on the following featured topics: Centrifuge Safety (available for sign-up on Wednesday 9/4 and Friday 9/6), and Packing and Shipping Dangerous Goods (available for sign-up Thursday 9/5). Each 15-minute session will allow for a brief orientation on the VR equipment and independent time for exploration through the VR-based laboratory training module!
Staff will also be available on-site to help support you in testing out the VR lab and answer questions about CDC OneLab VR offerings and how your clinical lab, academic lab, or medical laboratory science training program may be eligible for a free VR headset through a new CDC program!
