I would like to share ASCP's new scholarship opportunity - the Dr. Alving Ring Empowerment Scholarship Laboratory Professionals.
This scholarship aims to provide financial aid to students or laboratorians looking to enter or become more specialized within the clinical laboratory workforce. This scholarship has a DEI focus in that we are specifically looking for candidates from groups traditionally underrepresented in the laboratory workforce and/or from underserved communities. We will be reviewing applications from a wide array of candidates, from high school seniors to in-service laboratorians.
