Did you know an exciting national conference is happening right in our backyard in just a few weeks?
The 2025 Preparedness Summit will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (San Antonio) from April 29–May 2, 2025.
This year's theme is:
"Pathways to Recovery in the Aftermath of Disasters."
Hosted by the National Association of County & City Health Officials (NACCHO), this is the premier national conference for public health and healthcare preparedness. It draws over 2,500 attendees from local, state, and federal agencies, emergency management, healthcare coalitions, and volunteer organizations.
I'm thrilled to share that APHL and its Public Health Preparedness and Response (PHPR) program area will be exhibiting at the event! APHL is also a sponsor this year, alongside esteemed organizations such as the American Red Cross.
