    Hello everyone,

         I wanted to send out a reminder that tomorrow (9/12/23) is the deadline to submit your name for one of the positions on the WV Chapter Board.

     

    We have positions open for

     

    President Elect

    Secretary

    Director

     

    You can send me an email (della.haynes@vandaliahealth.org) or give me a call (304-388-4184) if you wish to submit your name.

     

    We will be sending out the official ballot later this week with the names of those who have submitted their name. The voting will occur at the Fall Conference at Stonewall on October 17th.

    Hello ASCP WV Chapter Members,

         We have received nominations and volunteers for our open Board Member positions.

    Here is the official ballot.

    President Elect: Misha Tate (Director of Laboratory Services at Mon Health Medical Center)

    Director: Herbert Vincent (Laboratory Information Technology at Davis Health)

    Secretary: Della Haynes (Laboratory Manager at CAMC Memorial)  

    We only received one nomination for each open position, but we will still follow the bylaws and hold an election. The election will occur at the Fall Conference at Stonewall during the Annual Chapter Meeting on October 17, 2023. If majority approves for these individuals to win these positions, then they will each take on their new roles at the conclusion of the Annual Chapter Meeting.

    If you are unable to attend the meeting and you would like to place your vote, you are welcome to vote by proxy. You may send your vote of "in favor" or "not in favor" for each of the candidates to the Nomination Committee. Your vote will be included in the final vote. You can contact the Nomination Committee by sending an email to della.haynes@vandaliahealth.org, wendy.harvey@vandaliahealth.org, or charity.thompson@vandaliahealth.org.
